Dublin Pain Clinic is now offering Magnet Therapy
Magnetotherapy is a physical therapy based on the application of specific magnetic fields on the human body. It can be used to treat pain, inflammation and swelling. Clinical studies have demonstrated that magnetotherapy can be effective in the treatment of osteoporosis and for promoting healing and repair of bone fractures and soft tissue injuries.
The device works by generating pulsed magnetic fields at extremely low frequency (ELF) and at low intensity. These fields pass through the body, acting on all tissues (muscle, bone, nerve, epithelial, etc.). They are effective even at depth, are not invasive and are completely painless.
